History

The "Laboratory Equipment and Instruments" company was founded in 1996. As of today, it is one of the leaders of sales volume and assortment of proposed laboratory  equipment, instruments and furniture to the laboratories of industrial enterprises, medical facilities, quality inspection centers, research institutes, educational establishments and other institutes of Russia and abroad.

1996

• The company basic profile, as from the date of creation, is an implementation of complex delivery of laboratory equipment, produced by Russian and foreign manufacturers, to Russian customers, generally, in Northwest region.
• The sales volume is growing

1997

• A new departure is developed - release of laboratory furniture of the domestic manufacture (LAB series). It found its customer very quickly and was able to compete on Russian market successfully.
• The first catalogue of products was issued, where the furniture, equipment and laboratory glass were represented. 

1998

• Financial crisis, broken out in August, 1998, became a defining moment in the company development. The "Laboratory Equipment and Instruments" company was among those few manufacturers, which could outstay during that hinge period.
• The company raise began with decision making about perfection of the own furniture manufacturing.  The developing food industry becomes the main purchaser of the production. The company begins to demonstrate its production at the specialized exhibitions. 

1999  

• The furniture production is developing successfully, new models appear, the domestic metal wireframe workshop begins its work. The company gathers pace, becomes known at the customer market and understands the necessity of production of its own laboratory equipment
• The first instruments are developed - thermostat (LAB series), heating mantle, shaker.
• The enterprise is extended intensively, sales and purchasing offices are created. By the end of the year the perfect at that time program of commercial management is introduced. 

2000  

• The first branch is open in Moscow: the company begins to cover the regions actively, cooperate with many enterprises of Russia.
• The company website begins its work. 

2001  

• The company goes forward in its development and makes the first contract with German partners Gerhardt, GFL and Binder for the laboratory equipment delivery.
• The furniture manufacturing is progressed, its quality rises, the development of instruments of the domestic manufacturing continues.
• The second branch is open in Ufa.

2002

• The assortment of produced instruments is extended through the development and production of thermostats and thermobaths.
• Heating mantle production comes to the higher level.
• The contracts with the leading manufacturers of components for the furniture are made, production of laboratory furniture with tabletops from FRIDURIT и TRESPA material begins to gather pace.
• The contracts with German company Julabo about delivery of laboratory equipment is made. 

2003

• Move to the new own building on Tchelieva st., production space enlargement.
• The production of laboratory furniture (LAB-PRO and LAB-UNI series) begins.
• Sales pattern is changed: industry and dealer departments are created.
• The assortment of foreign instruments is extended considerably, the contracts for delivery of laboratory equipment with foreign companies-manufacturers, like IKA and Duperthal, were made. 

2004

• New representative offices are open in Samara and Novosibirsk; it allows drawing the company production nearer to the region ultimate user.
• The branched dealer system is realized.
• The line of instruments for oil industry laboratories (ЛАБ-ТЖ-ТС-01ДНП, АРН-ЛАБ-1) is enlarged, the issue of specialized catalogue is made.
• The contracts with German company Nabertherm about delivery of laboratory equipment is made.
• Quality department is created. 

2005

• A new series of instruments is manufactured: heating mantle LAB-FH-Euro, specialized bath for density determination at low temperature.
• The beginning of the work according to ISO 9001.
• The "Polymers" department is created.
• New upcoming trends are open up, exclusive contracts with big suppliers (Coesfeld, Polytest, Elementar, Barloworld) are made, the order processing mechanism is improved.
• The sales geography is extended considerably.

2006

• We celebrate our tenth anniversary;
• Representative offices are opened in Barnaul and Surgut.
• The next step to service quality improvement is made. The company was certified in accordance with quality management standard ISO 9001:2000

2007

• More than 1000 laboratories and manufactures are equipped every year.
• Dozens of thousands devices are delivered to the customers annually. Among them more than  the half are of LOIP production.
• We start the batch production of powerful cryostats LOIP LF-312-80 for precise temperature control within the range -80...+100°С and apparatus LOIP LP-381 for determination of existent gum content in gasoline fuels by the Jet Evaporation method according to ASTM D381, ISO 6246 and related specifications.
• The production of LAB-series instruments includes three complementary directions: petroleum testing equipment, thermostatic equipment (water baths, thermostats and cryostats) and general purpose lab equipment

2008

• The company has developed and certificated in Germany the first fumehood in Russia which corresponds to European norms EN 14175, (part 3)
• Rebranding devices of domestic manufacture. Instead of the old name "LAB", devices are made under a new brand «LOIP».
• New high-quality devices which are able to meet competition with the best international laboratory equipment: a new thermostats LOIP LT-100, LT-200, LT-300, LT-400 have been launched.
• The company took part in the largest world forum of laboratory equipment - 21st international exhibition «Analytica-2008» from 1^st till 4^th April in Munich (Germany).
